Team Ro is More Than Pink
Rain or shine, Team Ro shows up and shows out with a spirit that I believe is unmatched by most of the other teams. Aside from being a top fundraising team the last two years, it’s a day that celebrates the woman we’re running for, and who started Team Ro originally, my mother. While it’s been tough to go from “running with” to “running for” her, each year we are reminded just how lucky we are to have had her in our lives, and it’s a day when we feel her presence still and stronger than ever. The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments for breast cancer. Additionally, it will provide vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
