Susan Vajdak's Village is More Than Pink
Once again we are raising funds in honor of Susan Vajdak. We invite you join our team roster so you can walk with us this October, or virtually if you are unable to join us in Houston. This event holds a special place in our hearts, especially since Susan participated in our first cancer walk back when it was hosted at Moody Gardens! Susan battled cancer not once, but twice in her short life. Six years ago, her family and friends made a promise to become her village, and we continue to uphold that promise today.
As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever. The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments for breast cancer. Additionally, it will provide vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more. Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
