In lieu of the official walk this Saturday, we will do our own community walk on Monday, November 3rd!
* Meet at Riverwood parking lot (by the football field) at 6:50 AM
* Walk to school starts at 7:00 AM

We will be walking alongside amazing women in our community who have faced this disease honoring their strength, grace, and resilience with love, courage, and pink drippy sparkle.

Sparkle Eagle Nation was inspired by Nora and her friends along with Austin and his boys, who love pink (and their own drippy style to match)! These girls always bring a little extra sparkle to every outfit ? and to life itself.
Austin came up with our team name, combining the best parts of who we are: ?Sparkle,? representing these amazing kids who shine with positivity, courage, and heart, and ?Eagle,? honoring our Heards Ferry community which stands strong together and supports one another no matter what anyone may be going through in life.
The ?Nation? part of our name is a nod to ?Chi Nation,? the name my incredible friends created when I was first diagnosed which is always a reminder of the love, strength, and community that surround us in every step of this journey.
We?re a team made up of people in our community whose lives have been touched by breast cancer whether personally, through a family member, or a friend. Together, we stand united in supporting Susan G. KomenŽ and their mission to end breast cancer forever.
The money our team raises will fund life-saving research to discover more effective treatments and provide critical patient support services connecting individuals in our community and beyond to breast cancer education, emotional care, navigation resources, financial assistance, and so much more.
Ending breast cancer takes all of us. As Sparkle Eagle Nation, we shine bright with hope, strength, and a whole lot of pink drippy sparkle supporting those who need help today while fearlessly pursuing the cures of tomorrow.
