Our team is made up of Catherine Hayes and Melissa Hanaka, along with our wonderful family and friends, all united in the fight against breast cancer.

Catherine's Story

I am excited and incredibly proud to be walking again this year to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. After being diagnosed in March 2023 and undergoing 6 rounds of chemo, surgery, radiation, and completing maintenance treatments in May 2024 I am feeling stronger every day and proud to call myself a SURVIVOR. I wouldn’t have been able to get through it without the love and support of my family and friends. Join me in my fight against breast cancer!

Melissa's Story

This year, I’m proud to join the Susan G. Komen More than Pink Walk for the second time on October 26th. After being diagnosed in November 2022, I faced 15 rounds of chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and countless appointments. It was an incredibly tough journey, but I’m beyond proud to say that I’m a survivor, growing stronger each and every day.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of our friends and family, our team was one of the top fundraisers. We’re ready to take on the challenge again this year, and with your support, I know we can make an even bigger impact. Let’s continue walking together, one step closer to a future without breast cancer!
