This team started back in 2022 after losing our dear friend and colleague, Myra Desroches, to breast cancer. While our team name has changed over the years, we continue to walk in her memory (along with other colleagues, friends, and family members), but also in support of the many women in our lives who have had their own battles with breast cancer, some who have beat it and others we still pray relentlessly for their victory. 

Statistically speaking, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. That number has already overwhelmed our lives. We walk together for those we remember, those we celebrate, and those we support. 

The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
