Earlier this year Kayla was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. Kayla is currently in active treatment and is facing many years of endocrine therapy. As a woman under 40, this involves navigating menopause while still in child bearing years. This is very difficult and an area where so much research and support is still needed.
