Kerry Clifford's Team of Courage

Our Story

Welcome to our Kerry's Team of Courage team page!

Join us in going beyond survivorship and making a real impact in the fight against breast cancer. After treatment ends, the journey continues for women with breast cancer, filled with wariness and fear. That's why we've registered for the Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. We want to take action and be More Than Pink, and we need your help to make a difference.

In 1994, Kerry Clifford, a wife, mom, sister, aunt, and grandmother, was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. She dedicated herself to finding new treatments and maintaining a high quality of life. The Komen organization provided her with support, resources, and a community she could rely on.

Kerry lived a dignified and fully active life, always smiling and energized. On January 7, 2015, she peacefully passed away at 73.

We created "Kerry Clifford's Team of Courage" for the More than Pink Walk to honor Kerry's journey. By participating, we keep our promise to keep Kerry walking toward a cure and supporting the organization she was passionate about. Combined with her 18 years of involvement and the team's eight years, we have 26 years of experience attending, fundraising, and supporting Komen.

We want to continue giving back to this incredible community of patients, survivors, caregivers, friends, and family. We want to carry on Kerry's work, ensuring that breast cancer patients have access to wellness opportunities for themselves and their entire cancer team. Let's show them they're not alone and that there's a vibrant community ready to help and support them, their families, and their teams.

Please join me in this fight by donating today. Together, we can make a difference.
