Welcome to our ONE Komen community team page for Wayne's Walkie Talkies!

My name is Melissa Smith and I'm one of the Captain's that has helped lead the fundraising efforts for Carrington and Wayne Gauck for many years now. Wayne had served on the Susan G Komen Board and helped put the Indianapolis event together for over 20 years before his passing away in 2022 just shy of his 25th Work Anniversary with CMS. This cause was so important to Wayne that his only vacations were dedicated to organizing this event. While we continue to miss Wayne, we will continue to help this cause and keep the efforts of the CMS Carrington team going. 

We will continue to keep Wayne's memory alive and support this cause that he spent 20+ years donating his time and support for. 

As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their ONE mission to end breast cancer forever.

The money raised will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer screenings, diagnostics, treatment assistance and so much more.
