Monica Davis - OCSRI

My name is Monica Davis. I am the Registered Dietitian at Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute. I chose to work in the cancer field after I was diagnosed with cancer in early 2013. After my second diagnosis in 2019, I became the point person for our company's Komen Race for the Cure team and have worked closely with Shari Holdman Komen Executive Director over the years. While I did not have breast cancer, my heart for breast cancer patients is strong. I work with these people daily and I love the community that Komen has created. I understand the fear and uncertainty that comes with a cancer diagnosis and Komen provides some breathing room. I am honored that I was asked to Chair the 2024 race and I am dedicated to making this year a complete success.
