If you have already completed your registration, you must log out of the site and begin the registration process with a new email address. You may register more than one person at a time by clicking the "Register a Family Member" button on the Review page of your registration. Please do not enter the same email address when registering additional people — the email address may be left blank if additional family members do not have their own email address.

Do I need to register my child if they are under 18 years old?
We have a special Youth under 18 registration type just for our younger participants! It is recommended that all children under 18 be registered for the event so we can plan for the needs of everyone who will be joining us at the event.

Do my team members have to register?
Yes. Their registration gives them access to the multiple fundraising channels and connects them to the community of participants and fundraisers all working toward the goal of ending breast cancer forever.

Can donations made to a team be split or shared among team members?
We are unable to split or transfer donations between individual and team accounts.

How can I fundraise?
There are multiple ways you can fundraise for your Race for the Cure. This Fundraising Toolkit provides a step-by-step guide to fundraising. You can also visit the Fundraising for Race page for additional tools and tips to get started.

All registered participants have access to an online Fundraising Center where you can share a personal photo and story and send email and social posts to friends and family.

If social media isn’t your thing, you can send an email. You have two options to choose from: (1) Send email from within your Participant Center. Due to new system limitations, you’ll need to first self-donate or fundraise a minimum of $10 before OR (2) copy the email templates provided in the Participant Center into your personal email platform. Be sure to include your personal fundraising link, and send from there.

FUNDRAISING POWER TOOLS - Fundraisers who use these tools raise 4x more, on average, than those who don't!

  • Connect your Fundraising Page to Facebook and ask your social community to support you.

  • Download the Mobile App so you can text your friends and family or deposit checks toward your fundraising. View the Mobile App User Guide to learn more about the app features.

Do you require fundraising?
We do encourage all participants to fundraise above the registration fee. This event is about going from awareness to taking action. Just imagine the impact if every participant fundraises only $100, we will bring in an additional $15 million to support treatment and patient support programs in our community and across the U.S.!

How can I change my fundraising goal?
You can update your goal in your Fundraising Center using your desktop or mobile device or using your Race mobile app. In your Fundraising Center, navigate to the “My Fundraising Progress” tile and click the Edit Goal button. In the Race app, scroll down to the “My Progress” section and click the pink Edit Goal text link. Be sure to pick a goal that’s meaningful to you, and share the reasons behind your goal amount in your story.

Are patients, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer expected to fundraise?
Just like our other participants, we encourage every participant to fundraise and have an opportunity to earn fundraising recognition items for their efforts! We find that survivors, those living with breast cancer and others that have a deeply personal connection to the cause are the most powerful and passionate fundraisers.

Isn’t my registration fee a donation?
Registration fees provide you access to the event and help to offset the costs for things like security, permits, tents, and other operational items. Therefore, they are not tax-deductible donations. Your donations and fundraising help fund our work to save lives.

Does the money raised benefit people in our community?
Funds raised by the Komen Race for the Cure series supports Komen’s mission to save lives and end breast cancer through breakthrough research and ensuring all people receive the care they need. Through your support, our neighbors will benefit from research discoveries, public policy advocacy and direct patient support services.

What is a Top Fundraiser?
Top Fundraisers are all individuals who have raised $1,000+ or more by Race Day. They are invited to join our Top Fundraisers Tent for complimentary snacks and beverages. You'll also have the opportunity to meet other Top Fundraisers and Top Teams! This is our way of saying "thank you" for dedicating your time and energy to our event’s success.

What is a Top Fundraising Team?
Top Fundraising teams each raise $2,500 or more by Race Day. We have a special Top Fundraisiers tent at the event where your team can gather and enjoy a place to visit and relax with other team members.

Is there a deadline for fundraising?
All donations on your behalf that are received by Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time will be credited to your fundraising total.

When and how will I receive my fundraising recognition gift?
Participants are encouraged to fundraise until Sunday, October 27, 2024. Approximately 30 days after the Race for the Cure, participants that have raised $250 or more will receive an email from komenincentives@halo.com with information about their earned gift level and instructions on how to redeem. Please check your spam/promotions folders if you can't find the email. After receiving the email, participants will select one gift in their qualifying level or one item in a lower level. You must redeem through the HALO site in order to receive your gift. Gifts are not cumulative. The item will be shipped to the address entered in our system at registration. Susan G. Komen reserves the right to substitute an item of equal value if recognition items are unavailable. If you have any questions, please contact info@komen.org.

I’m not receiving Komen emails. What can I do?
Check your Spam or Junk folders to see if your email might have accidentally been directed there. If you have a Gmail email, you can also check the "Promotions" folder for missing emails. To ensure our emails are delivered properly, please add info@komen.org to your Safe Senders and Contact list.

How do I use the Mobile App to Fundraise?
The Mobile App allows you to fundraise on-the-go and track your progress. You can also track your steps and learn more about the impact you are having to end breast cancer. View the Mobile App guide, to learn more about the features of the app to help you make a greater impact.

How do I track my steps using the Mobile App?
