My Story

In January 2020 I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer- no family history apparently, just taking one for the "team". After 6 months of chemo- then surgery and 30 days of radiation, I am cancer free.

We participate in the Race for The Cure each year to support those who are going through treatment right now and to honor those who have died from this terrible disease. I cannot even express to you the overwhelming emotion I have when I am at the Race- I am surrounded by my family, my friends and a whole lot of people who support the cause. Oh, and a TON of pink!
