My good friend, Lisa, is battling an aggressive triple negative metastatic breast cancer. When she should only have to stress about normal stuff, like work and figuring out what soccer camp her son is going to be in this summer, Lisa fills her days with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and blood transfusions. She frequently has to have doctors appointments with lab work and scans. And she never complains about it. She is focused on doing everything she can to keep her body going until we find a cure for breast cancer.
