Your gift could provide a one month supply of Tamoxifen, a drug used to treat breast cancers that rely on estrogen for growth, to a patient in need. Every 60 seconds, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer. Your gift will help save lives! Your gift could provide a screening mammogram to an uninsured or underinsured person in need. Your gift could provide a breast prosthesis for an uninsured or underinsured woman in need. Your gift will help us reach our bold goal to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S. within the next decade!

My Story

This year, I joined the ONE Komen community and will be walking in tbe Susan G. Komen RACE FOR THE CURE as a one year survivor.  I feel truly blessed to be able to walk in the Survivors Parade and reflect on a year of good health.  As a survivor, my breast cancer journey continues with the ups and downs of meds and the lingering thoughts of reoccurrence.  I'm trying hard to have faith over fear and will continue to advocate  for Komen's ONE mission of ending breast cancer forever.

Ian, Dylan, and I would like to invite you to join us on May 4th as we celebrate a blessed and healthy year.  Come join our sea of pink as we walk and run to lift up all of those on  their breast cancer journey.  Your support helps us get ONE step closer to a world without breast cancer.

Peace & Love
