Butterfly Warriors

Wow!

Saturday was Amazing! So Happy my mom was able to walk it, she did it! 4 weeks after full knee replacement.

And. Can't even describe how Wonderful it was to have Jake Cossetta there this year. The emotions were overwhelming in so many ways. So Good!

I was so thankful to be in the the parade and stand amongst a sea of pink Survivors. So great to be with surrounded by so many! Although, sad that there are so many!!

A lot of us still do the things to prevent recurrance and then there are the ones that are fighting living with metastatic breast cancer.

So. That is why foundations like this are so important and I thank all of you for helping me support this Awesome one!

Treatments and discoveries have come a long way in just the last couple years. I today had my 2nd to last infusion of Zometa which will keep my bones strong and help to prevent bone metasis, I am thankful for that alone! BUT There is So Much More to be done..Breast Cancer is still the #1 cancer in woman and still 1 of of 8 woman will have in their lifetime. I Hope to be here the day that it is eradicated! For now my wish that treatments and pills can become more tolerable for a better quality of life, for those that are fighting still and the ones that are fighting to prevent it from coming back. AND along with more financial help for patients!!!

I am so Happy and Thankful to have seen my oncologist today and say how that my 3 year cancer free mark is close!

Next year Jake and I, and Mom are going to do this again and continue to increase our goal and grow our team!!!

Team Butterfly Warriors fundraising is still open until June 9th and I can't wait to say how I've been Cancer free for 3 years on June 10th!!!

Thank You Everyone!

Love, Hope, and Pray!!!

The Butterfly:

Symbol of metamorphosis and transformation.

The symbol of new life, letting go of old cycles and finding your true inner expression.

The butterfly calls you to expand your awareness, spread your wings and call forth your inner joy.

Let go of limitations, and free yourself to express your own beauty within.

It is the time of spiritual transitions. Symbolic of moving from one phase of life to the next reaching higher, reaching outward, leaving the safety of the cocoon and finding your own place among the flowers of life.

Allowing the wind to carry you forward to your goals and dreams. A time of self-discovery rebirth. The butterfly shows you the beauty within.

This year, I joined the ONE Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen RACE FOR THE CURE.  I am dedicated to Komen's ONE mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.

Your support helps us get ONE step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support.  Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s treatment assistance program, or help navigating their care journey, Komen will be there for them.

In moments like this, your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let’s show breast cancer patients there’s a whole community standing by their side.

Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?
