My journey started with a late, yearly mammogram in late 2016. Based on that, 2017 brought breast sonograms, MRI, doctor visits, mammogram, reconstruction, more doctors. In 2017 while starting the journey I needed something to focus on and I found a local Race For The Cure and that is where my Komen Journey started. In 2018 I met some wonderful pink sisters who volunteer for Komen and they welcomed me to volunteer. I have been volunteering ever since for this wonderful cause. I want women and men to know they are not alone in their fight!
