This year, I joined the ONE Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen RACE FOR THE CURE. I am running this year to honor two important women in my life.
I am running this year to honor my Mother, as well as my Mother-In-Law. Both of these women faced their diagnoses with unparalleled bravery and optimism, which helped inspire me not only to participate in this race, but helped inspire me in my day to day life for the past decade. I am so proud of them and love them so much.
Both my Mother and Mother-In-Law are also SURVIVORS, and I run to celebrate their triumph!
