The Minnesota Race for the Cure is back for its 34th year! Join us at Viking Lakes. Funds raised from this annual event fund critical research to improve outcomes for all and bring us closer to finding the cures for all breast cancers. Whether you walk, run or participate virtually, ending breast cancer needs all of us.

What is the cost to register?
Early Bird Registration Fees through January 31:
Adult: $40
Virtual Adult: $40
Youth (under 18): $20
Virtual Youth (under 18): $20

How long is the Race? The Race is 3.1 miles. You may also choose to walk/run a one-mile route.
Can I bring my dog(s) to the event? We are excited to announce that the race and walk finish will take place on the 50-yard line inside TCO Stadium. However, please note that dogs are not permitted inside the stadium, except for service animals. Owners of service animals are responsible for any damages and/or waste caused while on the premises of TCO Stadium and Viking Lakes. We kindly ask that service animal owners clean up any waste or damage during their visit. Thank you for your understanding!
Can I walk the Race? Absolutely!
Where do I park? Free parking for all participants is located at Viking Lakes.

Mary's Story
I’ve lost an aunt to breast cancer and over the years, some of my very best friends on my team have gone through a diagnosis. While I hate adding names to my Race bib, I know the money I raise supports crucial work to help find the cures to end breast cancer.

Shirts/Packet Pick-up
2027 Race Shirt
Every registered participant will receive an event T-shirt. Shirts for survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will be in special colors to recognize their role in our event.
In our commitment to amplify the impact of every dollar raised for our mission, enhance our research efforts, and provide even more financial assistance to patients, shirts will no longer be mailed. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to pick up your shirt at one of our convenient packet pick-up locations or right on the morning of the race. Keep an eye out for our upcoming announcements regarding the details of these pick-up events. Together, we can make a difference!
Timing/Bibs
All participants must wear a bib to be allowed on the course. This is a chip timed 5K race. Our 5K course is certified, and 5K participants will be timed.

Race Results
We will list/post a link to Race results here within one week of the conclusion of the event.
We are pleased to award medals to the Top Three Male and Top Three Female 5K winners (excludes virtual participants due to in person chip timing). Scan a QR code post-race to see if you are in the top 3. Winners can proceed to the registration tent to pick up their medal. Komen will mail any unclaimed medals to the winners address on file they registered with.
