Your gift could provide a one month supply of Tamoxifen, a drug used to treat breast cancers that rely on estrogen for growth, to a patient in need. Every 60 seconds, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer. Your gift will help save lives! Your gift could provide a screening mammogram to an uninsured or underinsured person in need. Your gift could provide a breast prosthesis for an uninsured or underinsured woman in need. Welcome to My Personal Page

Hello,

I'm so excited to once again volunteer for the Dallas North Texas Race for the Cure! It is returning to UTD's beautiful campus this year.

My Komen story started when I moved to Dallas in 1984 and worked for a very philanthropic Ross Perot at EDS. There was an email about volunteering and my first Race was at the Galleria, when it was only women who participated; the Dallas Running Club handed out roses at the finish line (in very short shorts and a t-shirt with a tuxedo printed on it).

Each year I got more and more involved and it eventually became my career - I just celebrated my 16th year at Komen.

The events have changed, people come and go - but our goal remains the same - to live in a world where no one dies from breast cancer.

Please consider making a donation (no amount too small or too big!) and help us help our friends, colleagues and family receive life saving services and fuel researchers to find the cure!

Thanks,

Mary Frances
