Celebrating 26 years Breast Cancer Free.

On September 13 2000 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It took almost a month to process and get everything set up to have Breast Cancer surgery. And on October 16 2000 I had Breast Cancer surgery to remove a cancerous tumor out of my right breast. They removed 25 lymph nodes out of my  right arm, and 15 lymph nodes had cancerous tumors on them. I was told that I had stage 3 triple negative Breast Cancer. I had to take Chemo, 8 rounds one every 3 weeks until they were completed. Then 48 or more rounds of radiation  1 every day Monday thru Friday until they were completed. All of this while working at Parkland Hospital, and taking care of my two daughter . God has been so good  to me he showed me Favor , Grace, and Mercy. Look at me then. And  look at me know he is still blessing me 26 years after diagnosed.

Hallelujah  Thank you Jesus!!!! Early Detection Saves Lives. I thank God for another opportunity to participate.

In the Komen Race for the Cure. I am one of the Top Survivor Donators thanks to my Colleague, Coworkers all over the Hospital where I have worked for the past 44 years, my Church Family , Family members, and Friends.
