Walking for My Sister

This year, I’m walking for someone incredibly special to me....my sister, Stephanie.

Earlier this year, our family heard the words no family ever wants to hear: Stephanie had breast cancer. Since then, I have watched my sister face chemotherapy, surgery, and some incredibly difficult days with more strength, courage, and determination than I ever knew possible.

Through it all, she kept fighting. She kept smiling. And our family stood beside her every step of the way.

I’m walking to honor her fight, her strength, and her journey, but I’m also walking for every woman and every family whose lives have been changed by breast cancer. I want a future where fewer sisters, daughters, mothers, wives, and friends ever have to hear those terrifying words.

Stephanie, this walk is for you. I am so proud to be your sister, and I will always be beside you, every step of the way.
