2026 Komen Houston Race for the Cure

For me, this walk is especially about the women living with metastatic breast cancer. We desperately need more research, more treatment options, and ultimately, a cure. Research has already given me options that would not have existed years ago, and I believe continued research can change what a metastatic diagnosis means for the women who come after me.

I never imagined breast cancer would become such a big part of my story—but it has also shown me just how much strength, love, faith and hope can surround us in the hardest seasons

My journey has included treatments, surgeries, scans, setbacks, victories, and more waiting rooms than I could ever count. Through all of it, I’ve been incredibly blessed by family, friends, doctors, researchers and a community that continues to show up for me.

I’m still here. I’m still fighting. I’m still living. And I’m walking with a whole lot of hope for what comes next.
