2026 Komen Houston Race for the Cure

Welcome to CenterPoint Energy's Pink Fireballs' 2026 team page! Our team is dedicated to supporting Susan G. Komen® in the fight to end breast cancer forever.

We are proud to be led by our Team Captain, Charna Falls, a 23-year survivor, 20+ year Komen volunteer, and recognized Komen Legend. Our Co-Captain, Danette Austin, is a one-year survivor and member of the Houston Pink Honor Roll who previously led our 2025 Cheer Squad. We also want to thank our dedicated volunteer organizers, Komen Legend Ana Baskharone and Pink Honor Roll member Tracey Pham, as well as the Women in Leadership ERG for their continued support.

CenterPoint Energy has been a top corporate fundraiser since 2000, and this year we have an ambitious goal to raise $25,000. These funds provide critical support for research, screenings, diagnostics, and treatment.
