This year, I’m joining the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in honor of my grandmother, Beatrice Morgan Hertz — a two-time breast cancer survivor who went on to live two more decades after beating it. She was the light and matriarch of our family, and I carry her strength with me every step of this race.
On October 3rd, I’ll be running to represent her and everyone still fighting.
Organizations like Komen make moments like the ones I got to have with my grandmother possible for other families too. Funds raised go toward breakthrough research and real support for people facing breast cancer — financial assistance, navigation services, and a community standing beside them when they need it most.
Ending breast cancer takes all of us. If you’re able, please consider a donation in Beatrice’s memory. Every gift helps give another family more time with the person they love most.
Will you join me in this fight by making a donation today?
