Welcome to My Personal Page

This past year, the fight against breast cancer became personal for me. On December 29, 2025 I received a breast cancer diagnosis that began with a routine mammogram screening. I am still trying to fully grasp the impact this has made in my daily life as well as my future. 

It has been quite the  journey so far. On July 2, I finished my 16th and final round of chemo! I’m still healing up from my surgery on August 5th and I will start the last chapter of my treatment with radiation in the upcoming weeks.

Going through this opened my eyes to how important support really is. I am so very grateful for the family and friends that helped me through this year. Without their support the road would have been much more difficult. This is one of the reasons I joined the Susan G. Komen community and signed up for the Race for the Cure.
