This year, I'm running the Virtual Race for the Cure 5K for someone who means a lot to me—my cousin, Christine.
Christine isn't just my cousin; she's someone I grew up with, shared countless memories with, and may have kicked my butt a time or two. Watching someone you care about face breast cancer is heartbreaking. But through every appointment, every treatment, and every difficult day, Christine carried herself with incredible strength, courage, and grace. She never let cancer define her, and her resilience has inspired everyone who loves her.
Now that she has completed her treatment, I'm running to celebrate her victory, honor her journey, and stand with the millions of others whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. Every step I take is filled with gratitude for her, hope for those still fighting, and remembrance of those who are no longer with us.
If you're able, please consider supporting this cause. Together, we can help fund research, provide hope, and move closer to a future where no family has to hear the words, "You have breast cancer."
Thank you for cheering me on and for helping me honor Christine with every mile.
