I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt appeal to support a cause that is deeply meaningful to me - the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. This annual event embodies hope, resilience and the unwavering spirit of individuals and families impacted by breast cancer. By participating in the Race for the Cure, we unite in our efforts to fund groundbreaking research, empower survivors, and support those currently battling the disease. My goal is to raise $10,000 for this mission that is very personal to me.
This October marks my 27th year as a breast cancer survivor! Many of you know my story. I was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer just days after my 36th birthday. With full support from my family and friends, I went through a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. I feel blessed every day that I am healthy and cancer free!
Every dollar raised brings us closer to a world without breast cancer. Your generosity can help fund life-saving research, provide mammograms and support services for uninsured women, and support survivors as they rebuild their lives. Together, we can ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone.
