Community Makes the Difference!

One of the most valuable lessons we've seen demonstrated in the past 6 months+ (especially where I live) is that community makes the difference...in huge, sweeping ways, and in tiny, yet equally substantial ways. 

The fight against breast cancer is not a new one for me. It's not new for many of you. And today, there are even more causes that need and deserve our support. Yet this cause will always be close to my heart, having lost my mom almost 25 years ago to breast cancer, and then surviving breast cancer myself almost 19 years ago. 

It is with that same humble and grateful heart that I reach out for your support for my fundraising efforts for the Race for the Cure again this year. Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. It helps support critical research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support through Komen’s financial assistance program or navigation services to break down barriers to care, your donation helps make these things happen.
