Pam Dearstyne taught me that family isn't always about blood; it's about the people who show us how to be the best versions of ourselves. We lost Pam far too soon, but her legacy of kindness lives on in how I choose to live. I walk to honor her spirit and to 'pay it forward' by supporting those currently in the fight and those who will face this disease in the future. I walk for Pam, for her family, and for a world where no one else has to say goodbye too early.
