Years ago I completed the 3-Day Walk to End Breast Cancer for my dear friend Shannon, who lost her life to this terrible disease. Sadly, breast cancer touched my life again in 2025 when a close friend’s 24-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer, and their family discovered they carry the genetic marker for this disease.

We’ve made progress, but we still need a cure.

This year I joined the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to help end breast cancer forever.
