Running for a cure!

This year I’m doing the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K  because apparently I cannot turn down a 5k…..or a chance to show up for family. 

Last January, at just 24 years old, my incredible niece Mikaela was diagnosed with breast cancer. She’s facing this with more strength, determination, and a touch of humor than most people twice her age, and we’re all unbelievably proud of her.  

So I’ll be running in her honor and raising money for Susan G. Komen to support breast cancer research and help people who are going through this fight.
