This is for my grandmother, Catherine Head. She fought and lost her battle with Breast Cancer so that I might live and survive Breast Cancer, 40 years later.
Now in remission, I?m in a position to protect the interests of my people: by advocating for women of color. My grandmother's death will not be in vain. Her life mattered and I am here to carry on her legacy, as a Breast Cancer Survivor.
I can not fight this battle alone. So this year, I am partnering with the Komen community as a breast cancer survivor!
Please join me in the 2026 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. My team is: Pink and Pretty ComplAKAted
As a Susan G. Komen board member, I am committed to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer who need our support. Whether it?s emotional support through Komen?s financial assistance program or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let?s show breast cancer patients there?s a whole community standing by their side.
Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?
