Three Years a Survivor!

I've been a supporter of Komen for over 30 years. 

Three years ago, this fight became a lot more personal when I was diagnosed at my routine mamogram with IDC Stage 1A Breast Cancer that ended up being HER+. 

It's taken me three years to truly get back on my feet after what I was told was an "Easy" cancer.  And this is the first year I will actually be in town for the race and get to walk across Survivor Stage! 

I am here today because of programs like Komen. Groundbreaking treatments and support for those battling and for Survivors like me. 

I can't wait to march with my PINK sisters and continue to support this life saving cause.
