University Park Fighters is More Than Pink

As many of you know the publisher of the Greet University Park publication, friend, mother, and sister, Robin, was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer on her birthday last year.  She has undergone 16 weekly rounds of the "kitchen sink" chemo treatment, surgery, daily radiation for 30 days and is now on a strong dose of chemo pills until November.  This walk is dedicated to her and the others fighting breast cancer.  As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever.

The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments for breast cancer. Additionally, it will provide vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.

Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
