2025 Komen Tulsa Race for the Cure

Haboob (noun): a type of intense dust storm carried by the wind of a weather front or thunderstorm. 

When I thought about making a Race for the Cure team name this year, I wanted something with a weather twist. During my own cancer treatment last year, I would always say "I'm in a storm and I know it will pass". Just like a dust storm, it's hard to see the other side. The weather phenomenon Haboob fits that feeling perfectly. The hidden word is just a plus. - Laura Mock, your Team Captain
