Hello friends and family,

I?m walking in the 2025 Susan G. Komen Tulsa Race for the Cure on Saturday, September 27, at River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa Qgiv 2RunGuides 2RunSignup 14News on 6 14Susan G. Komen® 14. I?m proud to be part of the team "The Spice Rack", and I would love for you to walk with me?either in person or virtually if you live out-of-state. I will be live on TT if you want to join in the walk no matter where you live. We would love to have you there.

My Story

In March 2017, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. I had a lumpectomy on May 1 and completed 30 rounds of radiation. For several years, I was cancer-free and deeply grateful. This week, I received the unexpected news: the cancer returned. It?s now in two locations and in two lymph nodes Stage 4, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. I am currently waiting biopsy report on the procedure I had done Thursday of last week. I see the doctor this Thursday, Sept 25th to get those results. I am praying that is the same type of cancer that was found in my left armpit, so that treatment will be the same. If it is a different type of cancer then we are looking at a whole different ballgame. Thank you to any of you that have said a prayer, sent me messages, bought me things, donated, or will be walking with me. Your kindness means the absolute world to me. I love each and every one of you!
