Three years ago, I heard the words that no one ever wants to hear: ?You have breast cancer.? It was the beginning of one of the hardest journeys of my life?but also one that showed me just how strong I could be and how much love and support surrounds me.

This year, I?m walking in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure as a survivor. I walk with gratitude for every day I?ve been given, in honor of those still fighting, and in memory of those we?ve lost.
