As we do every year, Team Ro will gather to walk or run the Race for the Cure in honor of our founder, and my mother, Ro. Every smile shared, every tear shed, every footstep taken, and every dollar donated makes all the difference in spreading my mom’s mission for survivors to be more, to be “thrivers.” That is how she lived her life through it all.
When we lost my mom two years ago, just a few months shy of her 54th birthday, the light in our lives got a little bit dimmer. And while this race day does not get any easier without her physically here with us in her matching visor, it certainly spotlights her spirit, and the world seems brighter again. Team Ro has successfully become a top fundraising team the last two years and it wouldn’t be possible without all of you - please consider donating or joining us this year!
As we’d always say - I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always. As long as I’m living, my Mommy you’ll be.
