This September, I’ll be lacing up my shoes once again for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure — running in honor of the strongest woman I’ve ever known: my mom.
Last year was my first year taking part in this race, and it was more than just a 5K — it was a way to channel my love, my grief, and my hope into something that can truly make a difference. My mom’s courage, kindness, and unshakable spirit inspire me every single day. She faced her battle with breast cancer with a bravery I can only hope to match, and it’s in her honor that I’m running again.
Every step I take is for her — and for the countless women, men, and families whose lives are forever changed by this disease. Together, we can fund the research, education, and support that gives people hope and saves lives.
If you’re able, I would be so grateful for your support — whether that’s a donation, sharing this page, or keeping my mom and all those fighting in your thoughts. Let’s run toward a future without breast cancer, together.
