2025 Komen Houston Race for the Cure
Big or Small Save Them All is More Than Pink
I started this team as a way to remember my mother, who passed away from breast cancer. She participated in the Race for the Cure every year after she was diagnosed in 1991. She battled cancer for the majority of my life but never missed a race, even when she was in treatment.
This team has grown into more than just honoring her. It also celebrates survivors that I know from family and friends. With the collected efforts of SGK and scientists, advancement in treatment options and results has significantly increased since my mother passed in 2007. We want the list of survivors to grow faster with the goal of never having to honor another mom, daughter, sister, or friend.
