2025 Komen Houston Race for the Cure

Breast cancer touches more lives than we realize. Behind closed doors, countless women are fighting battles that often go unseen, facing not only the physical and emotional challenges, but also the overwhelming financial burden that comes with treatment and care.

This cause is deeply personal to our team, Rosa y Sus Flores. One of the women who raised me like her own has been a part of our family for 21 years now, alongside my parents and my brother and her own daughter. We’ve witnessed firsthand the strength, courage, and grace it takes to face this journey, and we’ve seen how expensive it can be just to live and fight. Too many women suffer in silence, and too many families struggle with costs that insurance doesn’t cover.

We’re raising money for Susan G. Komen because we believe no woman should face this fight alone or without the resources she needs. Every dollar we raise goes toward research, support services, and helping women in our community access the care they deserve.
