As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. KomenŽ in their mission to end breast cancer forever.
In major support of a long time peer and mentor Trisha. Her journey to her recovery has been an inspiration of strength and bravery. Through this I honor her courageous warrior fight.
In addition for me, Being BRCA 2 has changed my life in ways of early Preventative treatments. Its been a tough journey and im just lucky and blessed that going through prophylactic breast surgery saved my life. I did it for my girls and that i hope we can find a cure to breast cancer so they do not have to endure what I went through emotionally and physically.
The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments for breast cancer. Additionally, it will provide vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
