In 2003, I was diagnosed with Stage II Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Grade 3, HR Breast Cancer. At the time, I was on a journey to start a family. That dream was interrupted by breast cancer and the harsh reality of chemotherapy-induced infertility.
Today, I fight, not just for myself, but for every woman who, like me, is trying to have a child at 36 and is blindsided by the life-altering side effects of cancer treatment. Every dollar you donate helps fund research through Komen that leads to less invasive treatments and better outcomes.
If you are a parent, you know how deeply your children shape your world. For me, I carry love, and sometimes tears, for the children I never had. But I still believe in hope. Let us help other women live full lives and build the families they dream of. Let us help them create their legacy.
Let us be a blessing to others!
Until there is a cure,
xoxo
