1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
In November 2024, I was one of them.
I’ve been incredibly fortunate — my cancer was caught early by an exceptional team of radiologists and doctors, leading to successful surgery and a clear treatment plan. Recovery has gone well, and I’m beyond grateful for my care team and the unwavering support of so many — especially my beau, family, friends, coworkers, neighbors and courageous survivors who generously shared their stories and insights.
But I know not everyone’s path is as straightforward. Many face tougher diagnoses, longer treatments, and bigger hurdles. That’s why I’m committed to raising funds to fuel breakthrough research and make sure everyone has access to the care, support, assistance and resources they need.
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let’s show breast cancer patients there’s a whole community standing by their side.
Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?
