2025 Komen Minnesota Race for the Cure

August 21, 2024 was one of the scariest, emotional and heart breaking days of my life. Being told that I have breast cancer was something I never thought would be a part of my life's journey. As I have approached this road bump head on I have powered through 16 chemotherapy treatments, a double mastectomy, a hospital stay, many hours in bed recovering, one bald head, and more love and support from my family and friends than I could have ever imagined!

I ask you all now to join me and help raise money to make progress towards finding a cure for this disease. As I have sat through many chemotherapy treatments I am the youngest person in the infusion room and it sucks. I, as well as many others, shouldn't have to go through this. Life already throws us enough curveballs. It's a horrible feeling and it's a feeling I hope through research, preventative care and early detection that we can help someone not have to feel the way I do sitting in that chair. 

So let's get fundraising and come together on May 10th to walk for a cure!!
