I loved my Aunt Helen with all my heart. She was the kindest, gentlest soul always there to take care of others (don't get me wrong, she could be a spit fire too!). She was diagnosed with breast cancer, had a mastectomy, and then continued to live life to the fullest. Years later, it metastasized as it does for so many, and it claimed her life this time.
I was invited to walk the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure last year to support a girl friend with breast cancer. This year I am establishing my own team of Fearless Fighters to walk to honor my Aunt Helen, and all of the other brave and fearless fighters who have had or are currently dealing with this terrible disease. And I would appreciate your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts - and even better - join my team and walk with me on May 10th!.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support through Komen’s financial assistance program or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let’s show breast cancer patients there’s a whole community standing by their side.
Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?
