I am walking in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in loving memory of my mom, Ann McGraw, who passed away on June 25, 2023, after an incredibly brave eight-year battle with breast cancer. She was first diagnosed in 2015 and faced every challenge with strength, grace, and an unwavering spirit.
She wasn’t just my mom—she was my best friend. I never stop missing her, and there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t wish I could talk to her, laugh with her, or just spend one more moment together.
Throughout her journey, Mom underwent multiple treatments that not only gave us more time with her but also helped advance breast cancer research and care. Her fight made a difference for others facing this disease, and I want to keep honoring her in any way I can.
This year (and years forward), I walk for her. Every donation made in her memory helps fund research, support those currently battling, and bring us closer to a future without breast cancer. I am incredibly grateful for anyone who chooses to contribute in her honor—your support means the world.
Thank you for helping me keep Mom’s legacy alive.
