My Story

As a breast cancer survivor, Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure holds a deeply personal place in my heart. My journey has been filled with challenges, resilience, and ultimately, hope—hope that we can create a future where no one has to face this disease alone. As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever.

Every step we take together in this race represents strength, love, and the unwavering support of a community determined to make a difference. I am incredibly grateful for each and every one of you—whether you're walking, running, donating, or cheering from the sidelines. The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments for breast cancer. Additionally, it will provide vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
