Why I Walk

I am once again joining the Komen community with my kids and walking in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I walked for the first time in 2023, the May after my diagnosis with invasive ductal carcinoma. I was overwhelmed with emotion as I walked with all the supporters, families, survivors and fighters. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.

I walk for myself because I can. I also walk for 5 of my friends who are either fighting or have survived breast cancer. Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference.
