Speakman Squad is More Than Pink
Breast cancer is an all too familiar reality for me and my family. I walked in my first Columbus Race for the Cure when I was in my early teens. Over those last 30 years, we've donated/walked/raised awareness/etc. for a cure for year's and the advancements in breast cancer care and research have much improved. But...we want more - more research, more answers, more treatment options, more funding, etc. So... to continue to raise awareness and funding, we've formed Speakman Squad.
Speakman Squad welcomes any and all friends, family, colleagues, supporters, neighbors, etc. to join us as we work to fight breast cancer, enhance awareness, help educate, and raise money to work towards a cure/advancements. You are welcome to join and walk, run, or even participate virtually!
The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments for breast cancer. Additionally, it will provide vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
