Team Erin & Karen is More Than Pink
Erin and Karen became instant family through David, Erin's partner of 7 years and Karen's nephew. Karen bravely battled breast cancer and then Erin was recently diagnosed with breast cancer 8 days after they lost Karen's brother (David's father) to cancer. Erin and Karen have teamed up to raise breast cancer awareness and support by participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. As a member of "Team Erin and Karen," we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever.
The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments for breast cancer. Additionally, it will provide vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures. Cures that make a difference in the lives of patients like Erin and Karen.
